Over the last two weeks, my work has involved two year-end retreats with our first-year and second-year Seminary students.  Both were held at Croydon Hall, near Minehead, first in brilliant summer sunshine, and then in almost continuous rain.  Nearly 150 students, mentors and faculty teachers were in residence over the week.  Both were deep experiences where several of us were engaged in 'holding' the spiritual awareness of the retreats.  The first-year retreat culminated in their Initiation Ceremony.  The second-year retreat led up to their Vow-taking Ceremony prior to ordination.

The Ordination Ceremony followed last Saturday in London.  A joyous occasion for the 61 ordinands becoming Interfaith Ministers and Spiritual Counsellors was attended by several hundred family, friends and guests.
