Last weekend marked the culmination and completion of the first year's training with the Interfaith Seminary.  At a four-day retreat held at Rydal Hall near Grasmere all the students from the Manchester and Scotland cohorts gathered with faculty members and tutors to review our learning and experience of the world's major faiths, engage in various meditations and rituals, undertake various one-to-one consultations, and prepare for the deeper work of the second year of the training.

A significant event during the retreat was a sunrise ritual held at Castlerigg Stone Circle on Monday at which each of world's major faiths was called upon, and all of the students receiving a personal blessing and opportunity to step into the second year of service and preparation.

The retreat also included a 'dress to amaze' reception and dinner, and a grand auction that raised over £1,300.
